Description

Fmoc-O-phospho-L-tyrosine is a synthetic compound that belongs to the class of phosphatase inhibitors. It is a potent inhibitor of tyrosine phosphatases, which are enzymes that regulate cellular signaling. Fmoc-O-phospho-L-tyrosine has been shown to inhibit phosphorylation of the insulin receptor and may have an inhibitory effect on other tyrosine kinases. Inhibition of these enzymes results in increased levels of intracellular tyrosine, which can lead to inhibition of protein synthesis and cell proliferation.
