7-Fluoroquinazolin-4(3H)-One is a chemical compound that belongs to the family of anti-microbial agents. It is an antiviral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal agent that has been shown to inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus. It also inhibits the production of growth factors in cancer cells. 7-Fluoroquinazolin-4(3H)-One has been shown to be effective against Gram positive bacteria, including methicillin resistant S. aureus (MRSA), and Gram negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Enterobacter cloacae. The minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) for this drug is 0.25 mg/L. This product contains impurities such as phosphoric acid solution and nitrobenzene which may affect its quality.
