Description:
2-Fluoro-6-nitrobenzaldehyde is an electron donor that reduces a range of electron acceptors including piperazine. This compound has been shown to have antitumor effects. 2-Fluoro-6-nitrobenzaldehyde has also been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. The mechanism of action is not yet known, but it is thought that 2-fluoro-6-nitrobenzaldehyde may be a potential chemotherapeutic agent for pancreatic cancer therapy.
