Fmoc-His(Trt)-OPfp is a glycoprotein that can be used to produce monoclonal antibodies. It is synthetically produced and contains an L-amino acid at the N-terminus and a peptide with an oligopeptide sequence at the C-terminus. The lysine residue of this glycoprotein is used as a positional marker in the production of monoclonal antibodies. Fmoc-His(Trt)-OPfp has been shown to have high affinity for mucin and can be used to produce specific monoclonal antibodies, which are immunoglobulin molecules that bind to a single antigen.
