- Isoquinoline, 8-Fluoro-
8-Fluoroisoquinoline is an arylamine that is synthesized from cinnamic acid and 8-aminoquinoline. It was first isolated in 1887 by the German chemist, Carl Gräbe. The synthesis of this compound involves a transition metal catalyst and yields are typically low.
