This dye has been shown to have an excellent response to strain and body mass index measurements. The wavelength of this dye is around 488 nm, which can be measured using a sensor with a laser at the same frequency. The linear model for FBDC's fluorescence intensity is given by I = I 0 exp(-Δλ/λ).
