Description:(S)-(+)-Glycidyl nosylate is a trimerized activated phosphite that is used in the synthesis of amides, epoxides, nitro compounds, and styrene. It reacts with nucleophiles to produce an amide or enolate. This compound can also be used to produce a variety of other products by reacting with activated halogens or alcohols. The reaction between (S)-(+)-glycidyl nosylate and nitrous acid produces a nitro group on the aromatic ring. This compound has been evaluated for its ability to bind to receptors.
