Description:Gomisin N is a Chinese medicinal preparation that has been used to treat chronic liver diseases and kidney injury. Gomisin N has also shown an anti-allergic effect in experimental research with PC12 cells. The main active ingredients of this drug are schisandra (Schisandra chinensis) and gomisin, which have been shown to be effective in inducing apoptosis in cancer cells. These substances also inhibit the efflux of drugs from cancer cells, which may be due to their ability to bind to the mitochondria. Gomisin N inhibits the growth of cancer cells by triggering apoptosis, as well as inhibiting the synthesis of growth factor-β (GF-β).
