Description:Ganoderic acid H is a polyphenol found in the mushroom Ganoderma lucidum. It has been shown to induce autophagy, a process by which cells degrade their own components and recycle them. This molecule also inhibits cancer cell growth in vitro and in vivo, as well as surface methodology. The effective dose of ganoderic acid H is unknown, but it has been shown to be effective at concentrations of 10-100 μM for inhibiting the growth of human liver cancer cells. Other studies have shown that this polyphenol inhibits enzymes such as acetylcholinesterase, proteases, and lipases.
