Product Information
Hexafluoroisopropyl 4-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-2-oxo-2H-chromen-3-yl)methylbenzoate is a coumarin derivative that is used in the synthesis of diagnostic agents and pharmaceutical preparations. It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of prostate cancer cells and to reduce serum creatinine concentration in rats with congestive heart failure. Hexafluoroisopropyl 4-[(4-hydroxy-2-oxo-2H-chromen-3-yl)methyl]benzoate has also been shown to have drug interactions with warfarin, tecarfarin, and fatty acids. The chemical stability of this compound is improved by the presence of nitrogen atoms on its benzene ring.
