Product Information

Name:
Homoarbutin
Description:

Rotundifolia is a genus of plants in the family Rosaceae. The plants are perennial and grow to about 1 m in height. Triticum aestivum is the most well-known plant in this genus, and is commonly known as wheat or common wheat. This plant has been used in pharmacokinetics studies due to its low energy content. Data from these studies have shown that the absorption of rotundifolia is rapid with a short elimination half-life, indicating that it may be an ideal drug for intermittent therapy. Rotundifolia has also been studied for its anticancer activity and blood pressure lowering effects. It has been shown to inhibit osteoclast formation, which leads to decreased bone resorption and increased bone mineral density, as well as suppressing the growth of MDA-MB-231 cells through inhibition of microcapsule formation and induction of apoptosis.
