Description

Hypocrellin C is a type of hypocrellin that originates from wild-type strains of the bacteria Escherichia coli. Hypocrellin C has been shown to have an anti-diabetic effect in rats, and it also has pharmacokinetic properties. The uptake of Hypocrellin C by cells was observed using an analytical method with type strain L6 cells. It has been shown to be transported by the transporter type protein amp-activated protein (AP). Hypocrellin C also shows a high encapsulation rate in etoac extract, which is a medicine derived from the plant Eucommia ulmoides Oliv.
