Description:
Hispidol is a natural compound that belongs to the class of aurones. It has been shown to inhibit P-glycoprotein (P-gp) in human cancer cells and has potential as a chemotherapeutic agent for the treatment of cancer. Hispidol also inhibits the growth of tumor cells, including those resistant to chemotherapy. Hispidol is relatively stable chemically and does not show significant cytotoxicity in plant physiology studies.
