Hispidulin is a naturally occurring chemical compound found in the leaves of the herbaceous perennial plant, Hedera helix. It has been shown to inhibit cancer cell proliferation and induce apoptosis in human cancer cells. Hispidulin has also been shown to have anticancer effects on human cancer cells by inhibiting protein synthesis and cell cycle progression at different stages.
