Hyoscyamine sulfate hydrate is an imidazoline alkaloid that is used in the treatment of muscle spasms and other conditions. It is an antagonist at muscarinic receptors, which are found in the autonomic nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system. Hyoscyamine sulfate hydrate also has a hydroxyl group and a nitrogen atom, which are both important for its activity. In addition, hyoscyamine sulfate hydrate contains water molecules. The molecule is atropine sulfate, which is chemically ionized when it enters the body. The anions of malic acid can be detected with densitometric validation. Thermodynamic properties can be determined by cisatracurium.
