Description:Isothiocyanatocyclopropane (ITCPC) is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial that is effective against gram-negative organisms. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of leukemia cells and myeloid leukemia cells in vitro, as well as inhibiting the growth of bacteria. ITCPC binds to bromodomain, which is a protein domain found in many proteins involved in transcriptional regulation. This binding inhibits transcription and replication, leading to cell death.
