Description

Isopropyl palmitate is a reactive lipid that is used as a co-solvent in wastewater treatment. It is also used to make dimethyl fumarate, an active ingredient for the treatment of alopecia areata. Isopropyl palmitate has been shown to be a good reactant in the kinetic study of particle formation. The reaction mechanism of this lipid is not well understood, but it has been shown to have clinical relevance and clinical properties in vivo.
