This prevents the breakdown of acetylcholine, which leads to increased levels of acetylcholine in the body. 2-Isoniazid has been shown to have antiproliferation activity against tumor cells and also has anti-inflammatory effects on autoimmune diseases. The drug also has been shown to inhibit nitrogen atoms from binding with proteins by coordinating with picolinic acid molecules.
