N-Isopropylacrylamide has been shown to have good affinity for human serum and wastewater treatment effluent samples, as well as for chitosan polymer surfaces. The kinetic data show that this polymer possesses high capacity for trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) reactivity, which makes it suitable for use in reaction solutions.
