(+)-Isocorydine is used as a chinese medicine preparation and can be found in various forms, such as pills, capsules, or powder. There are two main analytical methods for measuring the concentration of (+)-isocorydine: one uses a spectrometer to measure its UV-visible absorption spectrum and the other uses a colorimetric method to measure the amount of protopine it contains.
