Product Information
Name:(4-Iodophenoxy)acetic acid
Brand:Biosynth
Description:(4-Iodophenoxy)acetic acid is a diazonium salt that inhibits the growth of plants. The sodium salts react with potassium dichromate to produce a solution of calcium stearate and oxone. This reaction produces anhydrous sodium, which reacts with hydrogen chloride to form fatty acids. These fatty acids are then reacted with liquid chromatography to produce (4-iodophenoxy)acetic acid. The biological function of (4-iodophenoxy)acetic acid is not known at this time.
