Description:

Isocurcumenol is a natural compound that has been isolated from the root powder of Curcuma aromatica. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anticancer properties. Isocurcumenol inhibits the growth and proliferation of cancer cells by binding with receptors on their surface and blocking the growth factor signal. This inhibition causes an increase in cell death through apoptosis. Isocurcumenol also has transcription-polymerase chain reaction (PCR) inhibitory activity, which may be due to its ability to bind to DNA or RNA polymerases.
