Product Information
Imidazole trifluoromethanesulfonate is a compound that has been used as an ingredient in deionized water. It is also used to treat cardiovascular disorders, psychotic disorders, and metabolic disorders. Imidazole trifluoromethanesulfonate has been shown to reduce the production of hydrogen peroxide in the brain and prevent oxidative damage to DNA. This drug prevents the synthesis of imidazoline, which may be responsible for its effects on blood pressure and heart rate. Imidazole trifluoromethanesulfonate is metabolized by cytochrome P450 enzymes into a protonated form that can bind to viral polymerase and inhibit DNA synthesis. The drug also inhibits hepatitis B virus replication by binding to the NS5B polymerase protein essential for viral RNA synthesis.
