JD 5037 is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits the binding of endocannabinoids to their receptors. This drug has been shown to be effective in animal models of obesity, diabetes, and cancer. JD 5037 binds to the CB2 receptor and antagonizes the effects of endocannabinoids by preventing them from binding. The high affinity of this drug for the CB2 receptor may be due to its tautomeric structure.
