Jasminoside N is a tyrosinase inhibitor that belongs to the family of rubiaceae. It inhibits tyrosinase, a key enzyme in melanin biosynthesis, by distortionless spectroscopy and inhibition activity. Jasminoside N has been shown to be effective against Brugmansia, Gardenia and other plants from the Rubiaceae family. Jasminoside N has also been shown to inhibit the transfer of monoterpene glycosides into glucosides, which are more effective inhibitors of tyrosinase.
