Description:

Jervine is a natural drug that has been shown to have synergistic effects with other drugs, such as angiogenic processes and matrix effects. Jervine is an ester hydrochloride derived from the bark of the tree Jervisia japonica. It has been shown to have significant cytotoxicity against human leukemia cells HL-60 in vitro. The mechanism of action of jervine is not yet fully understood, but it may be due to the presence of nitrogen atoms or sesquiterpene lactones.
