Description:JWH 203 is a synthetic cannabinoid, which is used as an analytical reference standard for the detection of other synthetic cannabinoids. It is a designer drug, which has been shown to have similar effects on locomotor activity and cb2 receptor binding as the natural cannabinoid anandamide. JWH 203 can be detected in urine samples by LC-MS/MS and LC-HRMS methods. The chemical structure of JWH 203 includes a hydroxyl group and an alkyl chain with two methyl groups at the terminal end. This compound is not active in humans, but has been shown to function as an antagonist of the CB1 receptor (Rimonabant).
