Description

Kaempferol-3,7,4'-trimethyl ether is an enzyme inhibitor that has been shown to have anti-infective effects against fungi. Kaempferol-3,7,4'-trimethyl ether inhibits the activity of key enzymes in fungal cells, including beta-glucosidase and alpha-glucosidase. This compound also exhibits antifungal activity in vitro by inhibiting the growth of Candida albicans and other fungal species. The chemical structure of kaempferol-3,7,4'-trimethyl ether is similar to that of kaempferol and kaempferide. It can be found in plants such as cheilanthes and cordata.
