Luteolin 3'-O-β-D-glucuronide is a glucuronidated derivative of luteolin, which is a flavonoid that belongs to the class of apigenin. Luteolin 3'-O-β-D-glucuronide has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. It has also been used as an adjuvant treatment for chronic idiopathic diarrhoea. Luteolin 3'-O-β-D-glucuronide is found in many plants and vegetables such as parsley, hyssop, and celery. The bioavailability of this compound can be increased by consumption with food or alcohol. Structural elucidation of this compound can be done using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
