L-Lactic acid is a natural substance that is produced in the human body. It has been shown to have antibacterial efficacy against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including multivariate logistic regression with lactate, benzalkonium chloride, blood sampling, squamous carcinoma, surface methodology, energy metabolism, antidiabetic agent, infectious diseases and transcriptional regulation. L-lactic acid also has the potential to be used as a fluorescence probe for measuring mitochondrial membrane potential when used in colorectal adenocarcinoma studies. L-Lactic acid has also been shown to have anticancer effects against wild-type strains of colorectal adenocarcinoma cells.
