Description

Ionomycin is a cytosolic Ca2+ ionophore that binds to the IL-2 receptor, leading to inhibition of IL-2 receptor molecules. Ionomycin inhibits methyl ethyl, toll-like receptor and constant pressure transcriptional regulation. Ionomycin also has biological properties such as the ability to increase cellular energy metabolism and induce pluripotent cells in hl-60 cells.
