Description:
Licoflavone C is a flavone luteolin derivative. It has been shown to have pharmacokinetic properties and to inhibit the production of inflammatory substances such as tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-8 (IL-8), which are associated with bowel diseases. Licoflavone C also has anti-oxidant effects, and has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria that are resistant to antimicrobial agents.
