• Description: Loxoprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that belongs to the group of drugs called NSAIDs. It has potent inhibitory activity against growth factor, which is important for the promotion of inflammation and tissue damage in diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Loxoprofen has been shown to have strong inhibitory effects on bacterial translocation in mice with colitis, which may be related to its ability to decrease the expression of endogenous substances through inhibition of colony-stimulating factor. Loxoprofen also has a high solubility in water (2g/L) and is soluble in biocompatible polymers such as polyvinylpyrrolidone.
