Product Information
Luteolin-7-glucuronide is a natural product that belongs to the flavonoid family. It has been shown to inhibit acetylcholinesterase and to have a hypoglycemic effect in vitro. Luteolin-7-glucuronide also has matrix effects, which may be due to its ability to bind with sodium citrate and monoclonal antibody. This compound has transcriptional regulatory properties and inhibits the activity of liver cells. Luteolin-7-glucuronide binds to toll-like receptor, which is a protein on the surface of cells that recognizes bacterial or viral components. The binding of luteolin-7-glucuronide prevents activation of this receptor, thereby inhibiting inflammation by preventing the production of cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor or interleukin 1β (IL1β).
