Description:
Lasiokaurin is a diterpene that has been shown to have potent antitumor activity. It has been found to be effective in inhibiting the mitochondrial membrane potential, which is necessary for cell growth and proliferation. Lasiokaurin is also cytotoxic to carcinoma cells and has been shown to exhibit significant cytotoxicity against HL-60 cells and K562 cells. This drug can be extracted from Chinese herbs, and its chemical structure was determined using an LC-MS/MS method.
