Description:Methyl 2-amino-5-chlorobenzoate is a synthetic compound that has been shown to be an inhibitor of the metabolic pathway that produces testosterone. This compound is highly specific and can be used in cancer therapy. Methyl 2-amino-5-chlorobenzoate's reaction mechanism is not yet fully understood, but it has been shown to inhibit the growth of human breast cancer cells in vitro.
