Description:N-(2-Methylphenyl)imidodicarbonimidic diamide is a fatty acid ester that is a monocarboxylic acid. It reacts with ethylene diamine to form an amide, which reacts with dodecanedioic acid to give a polymer. N-(2-Methylphenyl)imidodicarbonimidic diamide has been used as a coating for surfaces or as a cross-linking agent in coatings. It has also been used as an activator for the reaction of hydrochloric acid and fatty acids. The product may be used to treat bacterial infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa, such as urinary tract infections, skin infections, and respiratory tract infections.
