7-Methoxy-3,7-dimethyloctan-2-ol (DM7) is a molecule that belongs to the class of alcohols. It has a hydroxyl group and an alcohol group. DM7 is used in skin care products as an antioxidant, anti-aging agent, and matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor.
