4-(Methylthio)benzylchloride is a molecule that belongs to the group of dendrons. It is a synthetic molecule with an acid chloride functional group. This compound has been synthesized by decarboxylation of 4-methylthiobenzaldehyde and then chlorination of the resulting alcohol.
