Description

3-(2-Methoxyethoxy)propyl bromide is a chemical reagent that is used in the synthesis of organotin compounds. It reacts with magnesium to give Grignard reagents, which can be used for the synthesis of organometallic compounds. 3-(2-Methoxyethoxy)propyl bromide can also be used to prepare alkyl halides by reacting with carbon tetrachloride or chloroform.
