Description:Mixed bed resin tmd-8 is a delignification agent that removes hemicellulose from lignocellulosic biomass. This resin has a high level of glycosidic activity, which irreversibly activates the lignin and cellulose. The activation energy for this process is relatively low and can be used to remove hemicellulose from wood pulp. Mixed bed resin tmd-8 has been shown to react with streptococcus, chloride, and bacterial cellulose in emulsions. This product has also been shown to have antimicrobial properties against Streptococcus pneumoniae and Staphylococcus aureus monolayers. Mixed bed resin tmd-8 is derived from rhizomes.
