Product Information
- Morine
Morin dihydrate is an analytical reagent that is used to measure the inhibition of oxidative phosphorylation and electron transport in mitochondria. Morin dihydrate also has hypoglycemic effects and may be useful in the treatment of diabetes mellitus. Morin dihydrate inhibits the activation of Toll-like receptors (TLRs) by inhibiting nuclear DNA synthesis and inducing cell death. It also exhibits a protective effect against neuronal death induced by radiation injury, which may be due to its ability to inhibit polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Morin dihydrate is found in a number of plants, including blackberry leaves, hawthorn leaves, and bitter cherry leaves, and has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties.
