• Description: Methionine sulfoxide is a methionine that has been oxidized to methionine sulfoxide. Methionine sulfoxides are produced through protein oxidation, which is the chemical process of reacting with oxygen in the air or other compounds to form an organic peroxide and superoxide radical.
