Description

Methyl benzyl sulfoxide is a diphenyl sulfoxide and it is activated. This compound has a cavity type structure and it can be used as a pharmaceutical preparation. The activation of this compound can be done by enzymatic reaction or with carbon nanotubes. Methyl benzyl sulfoxide has been shown to react with hydrogen atoms, forming hydrogen bonds. Magnetic resonance spectroscopy has been used to study the kinetic reactions that occur between methyl benzy sulfoxide and isobutyl groups.
