N-Methylpiperazine has been shown to inhibit the growth of squamous carcinoma by blocking the production of DNA and RNA. The chemical substance also inhibits the synthesis of protein, which is needed for cell division. N-Methylpiperazine also reacts with hydrogen fluoride to form stable complexes.
