Description:

Methyl 2-amino-5-hydroxybenzoate (MAHB) is a chiral synthetic compound. It has been used in vitro to study the effects of MAHB on tissues, including skin. The results showed that MAHB had an inhibitory effect on the production of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). MAHB also has antinociceptive properties and can be used as a potential analgesic for treating pain.
