Methyl 4-acetamido-5-chloro-2-methoxybenzoate is a chemical compound that has been used in the synthesis of n-dimethyl formamide. The chemical structure of Methyl 4-acetamido-5-chloro-2-methoxybenzoate is shown in Figure 1. It is soluble in water and methanol, and insoluble in ether. Methyl 4-acetamido-5-chloro-2-methoxybenzoate has been found to be toxic to aquatic organisms.
