Product Information
- 2'-Methoxyisoliquiritigenin3-Deoxysappanchalcone(2E)-1-(4-Hydroxy-2-methoxyphenyl)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-propen-1-one
2'-O-Methylisoliquiritigenin is a natural compound that has been shown to inhibit the transcriptional activity of the mitochondrial membrane potential. It functions by binding to the polymerase chain, which blocks transcription and DNA replication. This action may be due to its ability to bind to intracellular targets such as MMP-9 activity and cell lysis. 2'-O-Methylisoliquiritigenin also inhibits skin cancer in vitro, as well as xenograft tumor growth in vivo. 2'-O-Methylisoliquiritigenin can bind to dna in vitro assays and is an effective inhibitor of embryonic bovine locomotor activity in vivo.
