3-Methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane is a silane that has been modified with an acrylic group. It is used as an additive for the production of coatings, adhesives, and sealants. 3-Methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane is resistant to hydrochloric acid and other chemicals. It is also stable in water and light exposure.
