Description:
3-Methylglutaric anhydride is a chemical compound that is a desymmetrization agent. It has the ability to convert linear fatty acids into cyclic fatty acids. 3-Methylglutaric anhydride has been shown to be highly cytotoxic and can induce cancer cell death. This product also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
